ILOILO City – Three people were arrested for allegedly selling dangerous drugs in Barangay Desamparados, Jaro district.
Luther Jaleco, 60, of the same village; Randy Siocon, 50, of Magsaysay Village, La Paz; and Max Maxiliano Yap, 43, of Barangay 3, Tigbauan, Iloilo were detained at the Jaro police station.
Police staged the sting operation that led to the suspects’ capture at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Thirteen plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized from the suspects.
These were on top of the sachet of suspected shabu they “conspired” in selling to undercover officers for P1,000, a police report stated.
The recoveries were valued at an estimated P21,000, police said./PN
