BACOLOD City – Jealousy may have been the motive in a stabbing incident around 4 a.m. yesterday on Luzuriaga Street, police said.

Elmer Navares, 33, was walking with his 17-year-old live-in partner when a certain “Kapid” approached them, a police report showed.

From what the police gathered so far, Kapid was the 17-year-old’s former live-in partner.

They were having an argument when Kapid repeatedly stabbed Navares and ran away.

Navares sustained wounds on the different parts of the body and died while being taken to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Police were investigating and locating Kapid./PN
