ILOILO City – Inside a detention cell was where a 30-year-old man landed after a commotion on Monday.
GB Marquillero faces charges for violation of the prohibitions on deadly weapons and liquor on election day.
Marquillero barged into a variety store and grabbed four bottles of beer, a police report showed.
He threatened to hurt the cashier, Febelyn Obiña, if the latter refuses to accept his payment, police said.
After buying liquor, Marquillero got into a commotion with other men.
Responding officers recovered from him the bottles of beer and a knife, said the police.
Marquillero, a resident of Barangay 8, San Jose, Antique, was detained in the custodial facility of the municipal police station.
