Last night, a few days after rumors surfaced that Kylie Verzosa spat on Maxine Medina on the set of “Los Bastardos,”Kylie admitted having done so on her co-star and fellow beauty queen.
According to Kylie, it was an accident. She explained that she was taken by Maxine’s acting when they were shooting an intense scene. “Especially now, last two weeks na lang, emotions are so high, scenes are so intense. Kontrabida pa ako, so minsan nadadala talaga sa eksena. You can’t help it, minsan may extra slap, sampal, nasasaktan talaga.”
She added, “There was an apology that happened on set. Right after, we talked with Max and everything is okay already. Pareho kaming okay.”
Kylie said that after the incident, it was business as usual and the cast proceeded with the shoot. “Nag-taping na kami, gumawa pa kami ng karami-raming eksena.”
Fans noticed on Friday that Kylie and Maxine have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Some connected it to the spitting issue, as news anchor Dianne Medina, Maxine’s cousin, ranted on Facebook on Sept. 9, “Blind item: Da who itong artista nandura sa kapwa artista na wala naman sa script.
