ROXAS City – A lesbian allegedly committed suicide in her boarding house in Pontevedra, Capiz, police said.
The 24-year-old Rhoda Fuentes, a graduating agriculture student of Capiz State University Bailan Campus, was found by her teacher hanging with a blanket tied around her neck on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Fuentes, a resident of Barangay Manoling, Pilar, discovered that her girlfriend was in a relationship with a man, her classmate said.
“Our family will try to reach out and talk to my daughter’s girlfriend to find out what really happened,” said father Rolando Fuentes.
Police have yet to determine if there was foul play./PN
