UNITED States President Donald Trump actually has been involved in a number of wars, an armed war with the invasion of Venezuela, a medical war with so much incorrect information and reduced funding, an education war with reduced funding, book banning and curriculum corruption, and now he is involved in a tariff-based economic war that will harm his own supporters.
The latest declaration of increased tariffs for so far eight countries that have dared defy him by supporting Greenland will mean that US citizens will pay more for imports.
This is standard bully behavior, “do what I say or else suffer.”
Generally, the best approach to a bully is to ignore them but rarely has one been so loud.

Close the blinds
In the background of the photo of President Trump getting a nicely framed piece of metal, the noble Nobel that you can’t really give away, there is a copy of the Declaration of Independence. But why does it have curtains? It’s a copy, as the original is too delicate and faded, so it doesn’t need to be out in the sunlight.
Is it there to remind President Trump of why and how the country was founded?
He doesn’t seem to know much about the Constitution either so a prominent copy in the Oval Office would also be a good move.
Why the curtains? Perhaps so they can be put in the dark while the President rains havoc on their content. The curtains might also be fireproof in case the documents explode into flames as he signs the next Executive Order.
Most countries have a Constitution to guide their leaders and people but rarely has one been so under attack from one person.

A symbol is just a symbol
You can give away your dignity or a symbol of your achievements but the recipient doesn’t then get these qualities inferred upon them.
The Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado has passed on her Nobel Peace medal to Donald Trump, a person not deserving it based on his recent actions. It is an unworthy political stunt by a desperate leader.
If Usain Bolt gave his 100-meter Olympic gold medal to Trump he won’t be able to run it in 9.58s given he probably can’t run at all. If he tried, the subsequent heart attack might actually lead to more peace and goodwill around the world and certainly at home.

Where?
The call cry of all racists, “go back to your own country”, is now becoming official policy with the Trump US Department of Homeland Security’s message to Somali people about cancelling their temporary protection status.
If this approach was used universally then US and Australia would be in a much better state as the First Nations people lived with the land rather than misusing it and destroying the environment.
Judge people by their hearts and brains, not by external factors such as color or appearance./PN
