ANTIQUE – A magnitude 4.4 earthquake jolted Anini-y town on Sunday morning, August 24, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the tectonic earthquake struck 20 kilometers south of Anini-y at 10:18 a.m. yesterday. It was four kilometers deep.
It said Intensity III was felt in Anini-y and Tobias Fornier.
No aftershocks or injuries were recorded, Phivolcs added./PN
