BACOLOD City – A man started a commotion in a mall in Barangay Palampas, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.

San Carlos City police arrested the 28-year-old Mario Gonzales of Barangay 6, San Carlos City at around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 26.

Superintendent D’ Artagnan Katalbas, San Carlos City police chief, said they recovered from Gonzales’ possession a homemade .357-caliber gun loaded with five live bullets.

Gonzales was detained at the San Carlos City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
