BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Buenavista, Calatrava, Negros Occidental was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The 57-year-old Carlos Saludar may also be charged with “other sexual abuse through lascivious conduct,” a police report showed.
Calatrava police arrested Saludar on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Amy Avellano of the Regional Trial Court Branch 58 in San Carlos City dated July 19.
The court recommended a bail bond of P600,000./PN
