BACOLOD City – A man driving a motorcycle was killed while his back rider was hurt when they figured in a road accident in Sitio Can-apot, Barangay Manlucahoc, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the fatality as the 40-year-old Alan Nucas of Barangay Mambaroto, Sipalay City.
Nucas sustained head and body injuries and was rushed to the Sipalay City Infirmary where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
The 37-year-old Eliadin Alejo was also brought to the same infirmary for treatment.
Investigation showed that Nucas and Alego were negotiating a curve on board a Motoposh 110 around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday when they crashed against another motorcycle that a 17-year-old boy was driving.
The boy also has a back-rider, the 20-year-old Mark Jhon Pedrosa. They were also hurt.
Police were still investigating the incident./PN
