BACOLOD City – A man was found dead inside his house in what appeared to be a suicide incident in Barangay Robles, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
The 34-year-old Pascual Bigbig was found hanging with a rope tied around his neck around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
Bigbig’s 14-year-old son told the police that his father and mother Verma had an argument over the phone on Monday evening.
According to the boy, Verma told Bigbig: “Kanya-kanya na lang ta!”
That night, the boy said his sobbing father told him, “Indi mo pagpabay–an ang manghod mo kag si mama mo ha. Palangga ta gid kamo.”
Bigbig was pronounced “dead on arrival” at the Rural Health Unit of La Castellana.
The body was brought to a local funeral parlor where a post-mortem examination was conducted./PN
