BACOLOD City – A man was hacked to death in Barangay Inolingan, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the fatality as 48-year-old Noli Carpentero, a resident of the village.
Tagged suspect was 42-year-old Agie Banares.
Police said the two had an altercation while having a drinking binge around 9:05 p.m. on Oct. 19.
Banares hacked Carpentero multiple times using a talibong, police added.
The suspect was detained at the municipal police station./PN
