ILOILO City – A man was arrested in Barangay Bagacay, San Dionisio, Iloilo.
The 37-year-old Elmer Villanueva hacked his neighbor, police said.
Jovel Malinao sustained hack wounds.
According to the police, Villanueva and Malinao had an altercation around 12:30 a.m. on March 19.
The victim was recuperating at the Jesus Colmenares District Hospital in Balasan, Iloilo.
Villanueva, meanwhile, was detained in the lockup cell of the San Dionisio police station, facing charges./PN
