BACOLOD City – A 31-year-old man was killed in an entrapment operation in Barangay Pahanocoy.
Aljohn Cabalhin was a resident of Barangay Tangub.
He initially sold a homemade gun to an undercover cop for P2,000 around 3 a.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
According to investigators, the suspect opened fire upon learning the presence of operatives of the anti-kidnapping group and Police Station 8. This prompted the police officers to retaliate.
Recovered from the crime scene were two homemade .45-caliber pistol with four live bullets; .380-caliber pistol with six live ammunitions; four fired cartridge cases, among others./PN
