BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects, including a minor, were arrested in a sting operation in Silay City, Negros Occidental, police report showed.
Superintendent Noel Polines, head of the Silay City police station, identified the suspects as the 18-year-old Joseph Garrucho of Barangay Rizal, Silay City and a 15-year-old minor.
Garrucho and the minor were arrested after they sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500 at Interior Luna in Barangay Rizal around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Recovered from the suspects were 31 sachets of shabu worth some P50,000 and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Garrucho was detained as the Silay City police station lockup facility while the minor was turned over to the city’s Department of Social Welfare and Development./PN
