ILOILO City – Charged with violation of Batas Pambansa 22, a resident of Barangay Tanza Bonifacio, City Proper had been arrested.
Police Station 1 officers served Henry Baclagon, 38, with two warrants of arrest at around 1 p.m. on Oct. 4, a police report showed.
BP 22 is the Act penalizing the making or drawing and issuance of a check without sufficient funds or credit.
Presiding Judge Eduardo Ramon R. Reyes of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 68 in Pasig City issued one of the warrants. He recommended a P2,000 bail bond.
On the other hand, Presiding Judge Maria Galila-Mejarada of RTC Branch 70, also in Pasig City, recommended a P4,000 bail bond.
Baclagon was detained at the Police Station 1 custodial facility./PN
