BACOLOD City – A man was shot dead in Barangay Purisima, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
The 38-year-old resident Reynaldo Salaber Jr. died of gunshot wound on the head, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as Kenneth Saulda.
Saulda shot Salaber using an unknown firearm around 8 p.m. on Sept. 10, the report added.
Salaber was brought to the Cadiz City District Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
The motive in the incident was not immediately established.
Officers of the Manapla municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against Saulda, who fled after the incident./PN
