BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 12 grams valued at around P180,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 38-year-old Eldy Villarias, 33-year-old Aldrin Katipunan and 18-year-old Johndery Bermejo yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Villarias, Katipunan and Bermejo were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P6,000 around 2 p.m. on Sept. 11, the report added.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Silay City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
