BACOLOD City – He was withdrawing money from an automated teller machine when his gadgets and other items worth some P20,000 were taken away, a resident of Mandurriao district in Iloilo City told officers at Police Station 2.
The 52-year-old Reynaldo Del Rosario filed a theft complaint against a driver of a taxi with plate number FWX415 after the latter allegedly took his bag containing a laptop, a tablet, keys, and other personal documents around 8:45 p.m. on March 4.
Del Rosario said he asked the driver to pull over near a bank along Lacson Street in Barangay 4. He left his bag inside the cab, telling the driver to wait for him.
But when Del Rosario went back, the cab was no longer there.
Police were still locating the driver as of this writing./PN
