ILOILO City – “Those are not mine. They just placed them on me,” said mechanic Ronnie Diaz, who was arrested in an antidrug operation in Barangay Amparo, Pavia, Iloilo.
Diaz, a 48-year-old resident of Barangay Pal-agon, Pavia, was referring to the plastic packs of suspected shabu that police seized from him.
A poseur buyer bought a sachet of suspected shabu from Diaz for P500 at around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 29, a police report showed.
Five more sachets of the same substance were seized from Diaz.
The suspect vehemently denied owning them.
Diaz was detained at the Pavia police station custodial facility.
Chief Inspector Fernand Limbungan, municipal police head, said Diaz is a newly identified drug suspect./PN
