BACOLOD City – Crossing the road turned fatal for a mechanic in Purok Busay, Barangay Cabug.
Francisco Encarnacion Jr. of Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental died after a motorcycle hit and a tricycle overran him on a dimly lit road on Saturday evening, a police report showed.
Encarnacion had been residing in Barangay Cabug for 10 years, officers from Police Station 9 said.
Motorcycle driver Oliver Young, 38, of Purok Zone 4, Barangay Handumanan surrendered to the police after the incident.
Police were still locating and identifying the tricycle driver, who fled after the incident./PN
