BACOLOD City – Three minors were rescued in a human trafficking entrapment operation at a hotel along Lacson Street, a police report showed.
It was not immediately clear how old the minors were but one of them is 17 years old, police said.
According to the police, the 17-year-old minor pimped out the two others through social networking site Facebook.
The three were apprehended after an officer who pretended to be a customer handed them P2,000 around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
Officers from the Bacolod City Police Office’s Women and Children Protection Desk, City Intelligence Unit, Police Station 1, Regional Anti-Cybercrime Office 6, and Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD) staged the operation.
The minors were now in the custody of the DSSD./PN
