BACOLOD City – A female employee of a business process outsourcing (BPO) company was hit by a motorcycle on Araneta Street, Barangay Singcang-Airport at around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old Erlynor Colango of Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental died. She was crossing the pedestrian lane when hit.
The motorcycle was driven by Rex Evrile Pedrajas, also an employee from another BPO company in the city.
Police Station 8 traffic investigators said the impact threw Colango several meters from the pedestrian lane.
Colango was rushed to the hospital but was declared “dead upon arrival”.
Pedrajas, meanwhile, surrendered to the police. He denied driving fast and being drunk./PN
