BACOLOD City – Crossing the road turned fatal for a man in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 60-year-old Dionisio Salazar of Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental was hit by a motorcycle around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Salazar was rushed to the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City where attending physician Dr. Ralston Ramos pronounced him dead at around 9:34 a.m. on the same day.
Police identified the motorcycle driver as the 25-year-old Noel Balauro of Mabinay, Negros Oriental.
Balauro was also brought to the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital for treatment of wounds, police said./PN
