BACOLOD City – An elderly woman was hit by a motorcycle while she was crossing the national highway in Barangay Agan-an, Sibulan, Negros Oriental on Sunday.
The 82-year-old Betty Baldado of Barangay Bolocboloc, Sibulan died.
Concerned citizens and the motorcycle driver, Monrico Flores Jr., brought the victim to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital.
But the attending physician, Dr. Alexis James Onto, declared Baldado dead. He said the victim died of pulmonary contusion and multiple rib fracture secondary to blunt chest trauma./PN
