BACOLOD City – Separate police operations in Negros Occidental led to the arrest of three wanted persons.
Jay Quiniquito, Swiña Florida and Rowell Alvarez were caught on Jan. 6.
Municipal police led by Chief Inspector Ruben Pajarito collared the 42-year-old Quiniquito of Purok 5, Barangay Caliling, Cauayan in the town’s Barangay Poblacion around 1:10 p.m.
Quiniquito was accused of violating Presidential Decree 603 in relation to the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 63 (Bayawan City, Negros Oriental) Judge Orlando Velasco issued the arrest warrant against the suspect on Sept. 15, 2016 and set the bail bond at P80,000.
Charged with four counts of violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act, the 56-year-old Florida of Villena Street, Barangay Zone 3, Cadiz City was arrested on Villena Street, Barangay Zone 2, also in Cadiz, around 10:30 a.m.
RTC Branch 60 (Cadiz City) Judge Raymond Joseph Javier issued the arrest warrant on Oct. 18, 2016 and set the bail bond at P80,000 for each count, or a total of P320,000.
A homicide suspect, the 26-year-old Alvarez of Sitio Sumilang, Barangay Cansalongon, Isabela was arrested around 2:30 p.m.
RTC Branch 56 (Himamaylan City) Judge Nilo Sarsaba issued the arrest warrant on Aug. 26, 2011 yet and set the bail bond at P40,000./PN
