BACOLOD City – A motorist was killed in a road accident in Barangay Prosperidad, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 23-year-old Niño Dela Peña of Barangay Malasibog, Escalante City, Negros Occidental died of head injuries, police said.
According to police investigation, Dela Peña was navigating the road when he clashed against another motorcycle in the opposite direction driven by 33-year-old Jason Puentenigra of Barangay Prosperidad, San Carlos City around 8:20 p.m. on Feb. 8
Puentenigra and Dela Peña were brought to the San Carlos City hospital, but the attending physician declared the latter as “dead on arrival.”/PN
