THOUSANDS of youthful hearts gathered to etch a recollection of tidbits left by some crimson footprints on the soils of Passi I Central School. Coming home is just like witnessing the stretch of the buds of a seasonal flower, or just like breathing the cool dews that slide on the fingers of the rice stalks. And everyone drank the priceless refreshment – the ventured clouds of happy encounters since time immemorial, at least.
Feb. 8, 2020 is not just another lagaw or hampang with all the precious innocentfaces way back then but more of a recognition of the glow in the eyes of these faces inked in everyone’s first chapter.
For 21 years, Passi I Central School’s General Alumni Homecoming reverberate the rhythms of joy (mixed with a little nostalgia); a thousand stories of present struggles and successes and the never-ending reels of the truest events happened in the very portals of the alma mater.
The loudest among the hearty laughs could be pinpointed towards that certain direction – as if the wind vane knew where it should belong. And the location is adorned with a “silver lining,” and yes, that positive atmosphere came from the bunch of these cheery individuals, with an exceptional bond that’s getting tighter than ever.
Class 1995, the Silver Jubilarians brought heaps of news anew – some addition to the feathers of their caps – after fulfilling their desired paths. The hearts that have embodied the institution’s mandate and that is to always look back and give back to the masses.
Five faces from Class ‘95 emerged with a promising dazzle as their passion for service championed the hidden heroes they have dreamt since the good old times.
Rev. Fr. Francis Martinez reignited the flames of hope in religion as he was recognized along his journey on his chosen vocation. Leah Lyn P. Fajardo stood her ground, firm and faithful for a just, responsible and honest journalism. Dr. Mejie L. Gemorañon continued to conquer heights of service towards ensuring gold in the health of the commune. Capt. Reygan S. Muyco, head-high aboard, with the pledge of sailing safely in the mad seas, learnt to stay afloat amid real-life battles. And Engr. Ryan Panela embraced his chosen craft, making his name in the field of Engineering (Elec. & Communication), and paved the way to the gates of fresher breakthroughs.

Class 1995 revved up their dreams with such a kind of fuel – camaraderie, or just the permanent hue of inspiration from their alma mater.
Maybe, few ounces of tears have dropped, or few pairs of legs have trembled, but now these drops meant fulfillment and these legs are set to hike farther and bumpier roads in the future./PN
