ILOILO City – An 18-year-old resident of Jaro district was arrested in Barangay Rizal Palapala II, City Proper.
Welvin Perez was accused of stealing a mountain bike.
Ricky Macabebe, 48, of Barangay Pale Benedicto Rizal, Mandurriao complained at the police station in the district that his P45,000 Cole mountain bike has gone missing.
Officers launched a follow-up operation and recovered the bicycle from Perez at around 11 a.m. on Jan. 7, a police report showed.
Macabebe identified the recovered item as his, police said.
