SAN JOSE, Antique – An independent film that students from Antique National School (ANS) produced will represent Western Visayas in a national film festival on Dec. 28 in Metro Manila.
ANS Teacher Arvin Perira said on Tuesday that his students’ film “Tahi” was chosen to join the Commission on Population’s National Adolescent Health and Youth Development Film Festival.
This was after the film won at the regional level of the contest on Nov. 14 in Iloilo City.
Tahi depicts the contrasting lives of two brothers as they strive to stay away from illegal drugs.
The film’s director, 15-year-old John Lloyd Obsina, also won the Best Director award for Region 6./PN
