Bacolod City – A man was shot dead by an unidentified suspect in Barangay Caliban, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The 58-year-old Alejandro Panganiban of Barangay Canlandog, Murcia sustained a gunshot wound on the body, a police report showed.
Panganiban was found lifeless around 12 p.m. on Jan. 2, the report added.
Recovered from the crime scene was an empty shell of a .45-caliber pistol, police said.
The victim’s body was brought to a local mortuary for a “post mortem” examination.
Officers of the Murcia municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
