BACOLOD City – Seven sachets of suspected shabu valued around P12,000 were seized in a sting operation in Barangay 1, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 32-year-old Jomel Banla-an, 21-year-old Justin Biatingo, 46-year-old Monico Barbon, and 21-year-old John Ray Villarta yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
They were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover cop around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, the report added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
