ILOILO City – His brother chased him with a bolo, a resident of Barangay West Habog-habog, Molo district claimed.
Judel Barbero, 34, told the police he and brother Judy Bataquin, 45, of the same barangay had an argument at around 8:45 a.m. on Feb. 14.
Grappling ensued between them, then Bataquin got off him, grabbed a bolo and chased him as he attempted to hack him, Barbero stated in a police report.
Barbero further claimed that he fell to the ground, causing him to sustain scratches on various parts of the body.
Bataquin cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
