He called, I answered —

“I’m at your front door.”

And he was. (#805)

*

“I wanted to surprise you.” —

He did, and I was; and I wasn’t

Sure, if I liked it. (#806)

*

He came in —

We talked, got down to business;

He came, and went. (#807)

*

Just like that —

He came, we talked, he went;

He came back for more. (#808)

*

He just left the house —

And here he is again

Calling me. (#809)

*

“I really like you.” —

You are amazing, he said.

I know! I know! (#810)

*

“Can I see you again?” —

From a blond or a brunet,

It’s always a compliment. (#811)

*

The blue-eyed blond asks —

“When can I see you again?”

Am I ready for this? (#812)

*

“When can I see you again?” —

Do I have to remind myself?

I like blue-eyed blonds! (#813)

*

“You know where I live.” —

Does that sound like

An invitation? (#814)

*

“You know where I live.” —

Does that mean

“Anytime” enough? (#815)

*

“Can I see you again?” —

We understood it’s more than just

For a talk on the couch. (#816)

*

“I want to see you again.” —

I want to see him again, too, but

I said, “You know where I live.” (#817)

*

“I like it here with you.” —

Did he like the couch?

The floor? Or me? (#818)

*

“I like talking to you.” —

We know it’s more than that,

But I let it go. (#819)

*

“I like talking to you.” —

Is it the alcohol talking? But I like

Talking to him, too! (#820)

*

“I’ll see you again soon.” —

I knew it. I feel it, too.

I believe him. (#821) (500tinaga@gmail.com/PN)
