Negrense jins shine in online taekwondo championship

MANILA – Taekwondo jins of Negros Taekwondo Union-Tigers New Gen stable showcased their wares during the 2020 Philippine Taekwondo Association Milo Online Championships held recently.

Leigh Andee Rodriguez and Dims Diaz spearheaded the attack for the Bacolod City-based taekwondo stable with golden finishes in the men’s and women’s speed kicking event.

Christelle Avanceña, meanwhile, captured gold in speed kicking and silver in poomsae while Gadiel Estor also took home gold in speed kicking and bronze in poomsae.

Alexander Josef Marañon, meanwhile, settled for a silver finish in speed kicking and bronze in poomsae while Cipriano Lumanog and Christophe Avanceña garnered silver medals in speed kicking.

Jamie Agaloos, on the other hand, took home bronze in poomsae while Paulo Lopez, Josh Montesino, Manuel Machado, and Kenjie Aunzo likewise came up with bronze medals each in speed kicking.

The 2020 Philippine Taekwondo Association Milo Online Taekwondo Championships was a four-day taekwondo tournament with the first two days for poomsae and the rest for speed kicking./PN
