BACOLOD City – A 49-year-old laborer had been shot by his neighbor.

Vicente Kinoy attacked Rico Faburada, the latter’s wife Nina told the police in La Libertad, Negros Oriental.

Upon arriving from work around 6 p.m. on Tuesday in Barangay Nasunggan, La Libertad, Faburada learned that Kinoy threatened his son with a bolo.

Faburada went to Kinoy’s house to confront him, without knowing that his neighbor was hiding behind a huge boulder. When he was near the house, Kinoy shot him using a firearm of a still unidentified caliber.

Faburada was hit on the left wrist. He was confined in a hospital in Guihulngan City, while Kinoy fled./PN
