HEART Evangelista and Bea Alonzo shared a cute moment after their chance encounter following the latter’s recent civil wedding to businessman Vincent Co.
The meeting was captured in a video posted on the Facebook account of celebrity dermatologist Dr. Aivee Teo on July 17, which showed Alonzo’s visit to her aesthetic clinic.
Although the exact date of Alonzo’s visit was not disclosed, it appeared to have taken place shortly after her intimate civil wedding with Co at Makati City Hall on July 13, officiated by Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay.
In the video, Dr. Aivee recalled initially doubting the wedding photos shown to her because of how quietly the ceremony was kept.
“Hindi, AI lang iyon,” Alonzo joked.
Dr. Aivee then remarked that Alonzo’s low-key wedding might start a new trend of intimate celebrations.
“The nonchalant bride,” Alonzo then described herself.
The actress also shared that she personally did her own makeup for the ceremony. Dr. Aivee also complimented Alonzo’s simple white wedding cake, which had been reported to cost just around P3,000.
Alonzo clarified that she did not purchase the cake herself as it was a gift from her best friend, Bea.
While Alonzo and Dr. Aivee were chatting, Evangelista unexpectedly entered the treatment room. The two actresses cheered and immediately embraced each other.
“My gosh… ang ganda mo!” Evangelista exclaimed. “Ang ganda mo!” Alonzo responded.
Evangelista then admired Alonzo’s appearance as a newlywed. “Grabe ‘yung glow,” she told the fellow Kapuso star.
Dr. Aivee added that everyone at the clinic was happy for Alonzo, as the doctor’s husband, Dr. Z Teo called the actress’ secret wedding “ninja move.”
Evangelista agreed with Alonzo’s decision to keep the ceremony private, saying, “That’s how it should be!”
When Dr. Aivee congratulated Alonzo on her marriage, the actress replied, “I’m very happy also.”
The clinic also gave Alonzo a bouquet of flowers as a congratulatory gift.
