ROXAS City – The family of a man who allegedly committed suicide believed that there was no foul play in his death.
The 34-year-old Antonio Verundo was found hanging with a nylon cord tied around his neck on Nov. 3 in Barangay Banica, a police report showed.
Verundo’s body was discovered by his father – who requested anonymity – inside his bedroom.
Verundo was rushed to a hospital in the city where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”
Initial investigation revealed that Verundo had a drinking binge with his father and friends a few hours before his body was found.
Roxas City police were still investigating the death./PN
