BACOLOD City – University of St. La Salle Integrated School Under 10 Stingers retained the NOPSSCEA championship by defeating Trinity Christian School in the finals held recently at the STI WNU Football Field here.

After misfiring early attempts, the Stingers seized the 1-0 advantage at the 30th minute mark with midfielder Tavey Andrew Limas converting a top corner-curve kick.

Trinity tried to recover in the waning moments of the match but attempts were denied by Miguel Anthony Jochico’s tight defending and Juan Edmundo Rafael Yasay’s amazing keeper save.

Among the players of the champion team were Renee Gavriel Animathea Lomugdang, Arkin Reef Moncatar, Andrei Isaac Asto, Zhan Matheo Brito, John Paul Ganoy, Daniel Clifford Dumancas, Shanndrey Van Ereje, Diego Luis Valdez.

The USLS Football were handled by coach Rinelle De Oca, Eliseo Palomo Jr. Homer Paredes, Romulo Cabahug, Emmanuel Elloso, Noel De Oca, Noah Sajo and Jiff Lomugdang./PN
