BACOLOD City – One was dead and another was wounded in a shooting at the Looc-Balugo bridge in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.
The 59-year-old Luciano Yac was on board a motorcycle driven by Rodrigo Rabong, 35, around 12 p.m. on Sept. 7, a police report showed.
Two unknown suspects – on board another motorcycle – were following Yac and Rabong.
The suspects fired at them using .45 and .38-caliber pistols.
Yac and Rabong sustained gunshot wounds on the body.
Yac died on the spot while Rabong was rushed to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital in Dumaguete City.
Police have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
