BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 100 grams valued at around P1.2 million was recovered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 2.
The 26-year-old Evonie Bacurnay of Barangay Buluangan yielded the suspected illegal drugs, police said.
Bacurnay was nabbed after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 11:45 p.m. on May 4.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a cellphone and P16,000 cash were also seized.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
