BACOLOD City – Sting operations staged by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the police offices in Dumaguete and Tanjay cities recovered a total of P199,000 worth of shabu.
In Dumaguete City, the police arrested 27-year-old Reynold “Pokpok” Torres around 6 p.m. on Friday after he sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500.
Torres yielded four sachets of shabu valued at P111,000.
Forty-year-old Neil Bryan Napao of Barangay 3, Tanjay City was caught by the police 5 p.m. on July 20.
The police seized four sachets of shabu valued at P88,000, P1,000 marked money and drug paraphernalia from Napao.
Torres and Napao were detained and face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
