ILOILO City – Three persons were arrested in a drug operation at Zone 4, Barangay Sto. Niño Norte, Arevalo district.
The following suspects were taken to the Arevalo police station: Jessie Chavez, 30; Arlene Dalanon, 42 (both residents of Zone 4) and Ann Jee Mandal, 35, of Barangay West Timawa, Molo.
They were arrested at around 8:15 p.m. on March 21 in a buy-bust operation of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) of the Police Regional Office 6. An undercover police officer bought from them suspected shabu worth P7,400.
The police recovered from the suspect a total of 30 sachets valued at P238,000./PN
