ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) arrested 23 drug suspects and recovered approximately P8.1 million worth of suspected shabu during a single day of operations across the region.
Different police units carried out a total of 13 antidrug operations between June 11 and 12.
PRO-6 data showed that Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) scored the biggest drug haul of P4.9 million worth of illegal drugs while the regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 arrested the most number of drug suspects at nine.
Other units’ arrests are the following: IPPO – six; Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office – four; and one each for Guimaras Police Provincial Office, Bacolod City Police Office, Capiz Police Provincial Office, and Iloilo City Police Office./PN
