BACOLOD City – Charged with murder, a father and his son were nabbed in Barangay Old Sagay, Dagay City, Negros Occidental.
Residents Joel Araiz Sr., 62, and Joel Jr., 42, had been hiding from the police for about 24 years.
Their apprehension on Tuesday around 8:10 a.m. was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by then Judge Renato Muñez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station.
Muñez recommended no bail bond for their temporary liberty./PN
