Bacolod City – A man was stabbed in Barangay Punta Taytay.
The 63-year-old resident Jesus Flores sustained a stab wound on the back, a police report showed.
His 25-year-old son Jimel was tagged suspect, the report added.
Officers of Police Station 9 said a heated argument ensued between Jesus and Jimel around 12 p.m. on Jan. 1.
This prompted Jimel to stab Jesus, the police added.
Jesus, who refused to be brought to a hospital, received medical treatment from the Sum-ag Rescue Unit.
He said he is not interested to file a complaint against Jimel, who fled after the incident./PN
