ROXAS City – A seven-month pregnant woman was caught selling illegal drugs in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Panay, Capiz.
Shella Espinosa, 29, of Railway Street, Roxas City, was detained at the Panay police station lockup cell.
“For a couple of times, we found Espinosa where the subjects of our antidrug operations were,” said Senior Inspector Romeo Mallari, head of the antidrug operatives of the municipal police station.
“We did not implicate her because she was pregnant. Human consideration,” Mallari said.
But the officer said they decided to entrap Espinosa around 2:40 a.m. on Thursday when she kept engaging in the illicit trade.
A sachet of suspected shabu, a mobile phone and a P200 marked money were recovered from the suspect.
