“THE book is closed.”
Former beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles is closing not only a chapter, but the book of her life with her estranged husband, actor John Estrada.
In the newest vlog of Karen Davila, Meirelles talked about the changes in her life including her relationship with Estrada, whom she praised for being a good father and provider to their child.
But the Miss Earth 2004 titleholder stressed that she is no longer looking back and is moving forward.
Asked to give a message to Estrada, she said: “My message to John is that I have no regrets. We had a wonderful life despite the roller-coaster. I do have high regards for him and I do respect him as the father of my daughter, and I’m grateful that he is a good provider.”
“He always says that he loves me so much and I believe he does in his own way. The issue is that he does not love me the way I deserve to be loved. That’s the issue,” she explained. “I do believe that he tries his best, the problem is his best is not what I need.”
She went on to say that she will cherish all her moments with Estrada and that she will always be there to support him even if they have parted ways.
Rumors about their marriage struggles surfaced last year. In a social media post, Estrada said he and Meirelles have mutually decided to “take a break.”
But in her own statement via Instagram Stories, Meirelles said she was “shocked and disheartened” by what Estrada said. (ABS-CBN News)
