ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) is ready to provide legal assistance to the police who are victims of harassment in relation to their work.
It has four lawyers, according to PRO-6 spokesperson Police Lieutenant Colonel Arnel Solis.
“Naga-perform sila sang ila duty yet ginakasuhan pa sila,” he lamented.
But such comes with the territory, said Solis.
“Mag-impose ang aton pulis sang laye, may mareklamo gid na ‘ya, so sometimes ang aton pulis makasohan,” he explained.
Solis said the PRO-6 is willing to provide legal assistance to a police officer of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) facing a perjury rap filed by the suspects charged with murder in connection with the death of businesswoman Clair Diergos./PN
