ILOILO City — The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) confiscated over P31.76 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 152 drug personalities across Western Visayas in October 2026.

The regional police force conducted a total of 120 anti-illegal drug operations from October 1 to 31, driven by heightened intelligence gathering and community support.

Among those arrested were 51 high-value individuals (HVIs), 90 street-level individuals (SLIs), and 11 other suspects.

Authorities seized approximately 4,669.2 grams of suspected shabu, 2.7 grams of kush, 2 grams of liquid marijuana, and 56.25 grams of marijuana leaf products. The total standard drug price of the confiscated items reached P31,761,800.

The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) logged the highest volume of seized illegal drugs, netting 1,950 grams of shabu and 3 grams of marijuana across 34 operations. These led to the arrest of 45 suspects, including 13 HVIs, 26 SLIs, and six others.

Meanwhile, the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) conducted 52 operations that resulted in the arrest of 23 HVIs and 42 SLIs. ICPO operatives confiscated 1,296.5 grams of suspected shabu, 2 grams of kush, 2 grams of liquid marijuana, and 25 grams of marijuana.

The Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 (RPDEU-6) launched six operations, arresting 11 HVIs and confiscating 1,236 grams of suspected shabu. Other police units across the region also contributed to the monthly tally through separate anti-drug ops.

PRO-6 director Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño lauded the operatives and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to dismantling drug syndicates in Western Visayas.
